Our Story
What started as a passion for growing lavender became a commitment to creating products we would proudly use in our own home. Many lavender products begin with oils purchased from large commercial suppliers. Ours don't.
Every bottle begins in our own fields in Traverse City, Michigan, where our family grows lavender without pesticides and harvests each plant by hand at peak bloom. The flowers are carefully dried before being steam distilled by our family in small batches, so the oil keeps the scent of the field it came from.
From harvesting each lavender stem by hand to distilling every batch ourselves, filling bottles, and tying lavender bundles, nearly every product that leaves our farm has passed through our family's hands.
It's slower. It's more work.
But we believe that's exactly what creates exceptional lavender.

Lavender is grown and harvested by hand.
Unlike large commercial operations, we hand harvest every stem at peak bloom, when the scent and oil are strongest. Cutting by hand means we pick what goes into the still.

Plants move through drying and processing.
Proper drying is essential to preserving the natural aroma and quality of lavender. We carefully dry and process each harvest to maintain the characteristics that make our lavender distinctive long after it leaves the field.

We distill the essential oil and hydrosol.
Our lavender is distilled in small batches using traditional steam distillation. By overseeing the entire process ourselves, we maintain complete control over quality and ensure every bottle reflects the character of our farm-grown lavender.

Products are prepared in small batches.
Small-batch production allows us to focus on quality rather than quantity. Every product receives individual attention, resulting in greater consistency, freshness, and care than mass-produced alternatives.

There are no distributors, warehouses, or middlemen between our farm and your home. Every order is packed and shipped directly by our team, ensuring authenticity, freshness, and a direct connection to the source.

When we distill our lavender, the steam leaves behind two things: a small amount of essential oil and a larger amount of lavender water, called hydrosol. This is that water, bottled straight from our still, made from lavender we grew and cut by hand.
It's much softer than the oil. It's a light, clean lavender you can spray anywhere.

We grow lavender on our farm in Traverse City. We cut it by hand at full bloom, dry it, and steam distill it ourselves in small batches. Nothing is bought in, blended, or cut. What's in the bottle came off our field this summer.
Farm-distilled oil smells fuller and greener than most store-shelf lavender. A drop or two goes a long way.
